What Is Yin Shou?
Yin Shou is the collective term for Direct Seal (Zheng Yin) and Indirect Seal (Pian Yin), encompassing all Heavenly Stems and Hidden Stems within Earthly Branches that generate the Day Master (what generates "Me"). Yin Shou represents external protection and nourishment for the Day Master — one of the primary forces supporting the Day Master within the chart.
