The Significance of Strong vs. Weak Day Master
- Strong Day Master (Shen Qiang): The Day Master has roots and strength, capable of bearing Wealth and Authority. However, if excessively strong, it requires Restrain, Drain, Consume to achieve balance; otherwise, Wealth and Authority are suppressed, and talents have no avenue for expression.
- Weak Day Master (Shen Ruo): The Day Master lacks roots and support. However, as long as Seals and Peers are potent, nobility is still attainable. If extremely weak with no support at all, the chart may enter a Following Structure.
- Follow Strong (Cong Qiang): The Day Master is extremely strong; the entire chart follows this propensity. This belongs to the Specialized Prosperity Structure category and is treated as a Special Structure rather than an ordinary strong chart.
- Follow Weak (Cong Ruo): The Day Master is extremely weak and rootless; the entire chart follows the prevailing deity. This belongs to the Following Structure category.
Relationship Between Chart Strength and the Useful God
