What Is Conception (Tai)?
Conception (Tai) is the eleventh stage of the Twelve Growth Stages. It represents the starting point at which, after total extinction, the Five Elements' qi is re-conceived. Like the conception of new life, energy begins to coalesce from emptiness; although its strength is faint, it already contains the seed of a new cycle of growth.
Life Metaphor
Conception is the most wondrous stage within silence — the first ray of light in a dark room, the first ripple of water beneath the ice. The energy at this stage is not outwardly visible; no one can see it, yet it has most certainly begun. Like the first cell division of a seed deep within the soil, like the first neural firing of creative inspiration in the depths of the mind.
Those under Conception are often "behind-the-scenes brewers." They are in no hurry to announce or to display — because they know that truly important things need time to take shape. At the Conception stage, stillness is not stagnation but growth.

Meaning of Conception in Destiny Analysis

Conception is the second stage of the new cycle (from Extinction → Conception → Nurturing → Growth). Its energy is slightly stronger than Extinction but still belongs to the weak positions.
